Tuesday Tip: Use Your Senses

Yesterday’s exercise was on listening.  I mentioned how in the coming weeks, we will focus on each of the senses for our exercises.

Hearing
Sight
Smell
Taste
Touch

Using the senses can make your creative endeavors livelier.  Some, of course, cannot be translated directly, depending on what form you prefer to work in, but they can still influence and inform what you do.

Paying attention to your senses and the information they provide will eventually make you a more observant and more creative person.

Yesterday’s execerise I’m implementing today. For weeks I’ve practiced today’s execerise. It’s not as easy as it seems.

Very true. It isn’t easy. But, IMO, it’s worth it in the long run if you can stay with it.
